About Course
BTech in Civil Engineering is a four-year undergraduate program structured into eight semesters, designed to provide in-depth knowledge of infrastructure development, construction technology, and structural design. The course focuses on the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of essential infrastructure such as buildings, highways, bridges, tunnels, dams, and smart cities. It plays a vital role in nation-building and sustainable development.
Throughout the program, students gain a strong foundation in subjects like structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, transportation systems, environmental engineering, and construction management. The course combines theoretical concepts with practical exposure through lab work, field surveys, internships, and real-world projects.
Students are also trained in modern engineering tools and software such as AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, Revit, Civil 3D, and Primavera. These tools help them design, analyze, and manage construction projects efficiently. The course also emphasizes sustainable construction practices, disaster management, and smart infrastructure development, preparing students for future industry challenges.
